Eddie Loewen

Former German professional soccer player, Eddie Loewen has made it his mission post-retirement to connect talented American players with Europe’s top academies. Eddie is also a renowned coach with a UEFA A License as well as a USSF B. Born and raised in Germany, Eddie played for several German professional clubs and also represented the German National Team as captain in Beach Soccer. Eddie then moved to the United States and focus on his biggest passion – coaching. He has been Head Coach of the German and Indian National Beach Soccer Teams as well as co-authoring the FIFA Beach Soccer Coach Manuel.

As a co-founder of the International Soccer Academy, Eddie’s role is to make sure the best talent is recruited from North America and placed in a suitable Club in Europe. Eddie is also involved in the trial processes for our Integrated Academy team players. He not only sets up the trials but also accompanies our players and spearheads the negotiation process as their representative.   He also mentors all our current players and alumni.

Apart from International Soccer Academy. Eddie is also the founder and CEO of Global Soccer Development, where he has given over 2,000 American youth players the chance to train in Europe.

Eddie resides in Tampa, Florida with his family.

Diane Scavuzzo

Born in Geneva, Switzerland, cofounder Diane Scavuzzo is in charge of everything that takes place outside the pitch. Diane is an experienced PR and Marketing expert who is also the Founder and CEO of the acclaimed SoccerToday – Voice of American Soccer. Having published thousands of stories on the youth soccer scene in the United States, Diane came to the realization that many talented American players’ are hindered by their geography and that there was a real need for authentic training with professional soccer clubs in Europe. She and Eddie created International Soccer Academy to provide a pro residency academy for elite players to live and breathe soccer while being fully immersed in the highest level of training abroad to prepare for the next step of their careers. Diane is committed to making sure the environment maximizes each player’s potential and enables them to embrace their opportunities.

Prior to launching SoccerToday in 2011, Diane had a Public Relations firm on Madison Avenue in New York City and focused on the Entertainment, Fashion and Hospitality industries. From placing her clients on the cover of Vanity Fair or the pages of Vogue to working with Oprah Winfrey and syndicated TV, her unrivaled media savvy is the culmination of years of marketing experience and helps showcase the achievements of Integrated Academy programs and its talented players.

In 2021, Diane received the United Soccer Coaches’ Presidential Recognition Award.

A longtime New Yorker, Diane has recently moved back to the East Coast from Southern California.

Mark B. Seiger

Mark B. Seiger is an experienced corporate lawyer who specializes in complex civil litigation, corporate, and transactional law. He possesses extensive knowledge and skill in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies, finding innovative solutions to intricate issues, and initiating sophisticated financing opportunities and partnerships, all to the benefit of his numerous corporate clients, both in the courtroom and board room.

Previously serving as the outside General Counsel to Burton Snowboards, Mark played a vital role in catapulting the company into a dominant international position. He worked closely with Burton’s senior management and Board of Directors to achieve this feat. He also introduced snowboarding into the 1998 Olympics and developed qualifying procedures for the US Snowboard Team. Mark is currently the outside General Counsel to small to mid-sized companies and is the founder of Fuse Integrated Sports Marketing, a company that concentrates on alternative/extreme sports and the representation of professional athletes.

Apart from his legal practice, Mark is an avid snowboarder and golfer. In his earlier life, he was a professional off-road race car driver, competing in prestigious races such as the Baja 500 and Mint 400. During this time, he also designed and built off-road race cars for competition. Mark is a frequent contributor to DRI and other publications and is regularly invited to speak both nationally and internationally on product liability, sports and recreational liability, and risk management.
